PHCCI Events

Business After Hours

The highly popular Business After Hours are free regular functions for PHCCI members, held outside of business hours every month. These evening events are arranged by PHCCI and the host/s at no cost to its members, and are hosted by a different business each time, offering a valuable opportunity to promote their products and services to the business community.

Each month an opportunity exists for a members business to host the event. If you’re a new business looking for new customers, or an existing business wanting to expand your customer base, or perhaps relaunching your company brand and logo and looking for the best way to let everyone know, then hosting a Business After Hours event is the answer. It’s a great opportunity for business owners to meet their customers one-on-one, and for the attendees it’s also a fantastic way to network amongst fellow business operators and community members, expanding your local business community network.

The PHCCI encourages businesses to co-host the evening alongside other local businesses, to share the benefi ts and maximise attendance and networking opportunities.

If you wish to utilise this service, please call the PHCCI team on 08 9173 1737.

Business Breakfast Series

The PHCCI Business Breakfast Series is a monthly event that briefs the local business community on issues impacting regional economic growth and development and regularly includes major project updates.

These well-attended sessions attract expert speakers/panellists and strong representation from business, industry and government leaders. The series provides an exceptional business networking opportunity.

The Business Breakfast Series events are usually held on the fourth Wednesday of every month (except January and December), 7.15am for buffet breakfast with a 7.30am start.

State Budget Announcement

The PHCCI, in partnership with local and state government, hosts the State Budget hand-down every year with a representative of state government providing businesses with the important information regarding the annual state budget and its impact on the Pilbara region.

We arrange for a representative to personally address our PHCCI Members and any interested Hedland community members on the ins and outs of the upcoming State Budget, giving a targeted presentation on what the economic and financial implications are for the Pilbara and more specifi cally for Port Hedland and its business scene. The event provides all members with the opportunity to ask questions and raise any concerns directly.

The announcement is usually arranged as a catered breakfast or a luncheon event, allowing business owners and employees to attend this crucial presentation without needing to take too much time away from their business activities. The Budget Announcements also provide a rare opportunity for one-on-one networking between local and State business owners and our political representatives.
